The Zambia Police Service Commission (ZPSC) undertook tour of Eastern Province from 16th to 30th November, 2024

The Zambia Police Service Commission (ZPSC) undertook tour of Eastern Province from 16th to 30th November, 2024. The purpose was to sensitize police and immigration officers on Human Resource Management Reforms that Government had embarked on as part of the Decentralization Policy. Further, the Commission’s tour was also aimed at interacting with officers, appreciating the environment in which they operated and also dealing with some outstanding staff matters.
The delegation was led by the Commission Chairperson who was accompanied by five (5) Members (Commissioners), the Commission Secretary and eight ( Secretariat staff. Four (04) officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security, one (01) representative of the Inspector General of Police from Service Headquarters, and two (02) officers from Immigration Department were also part of the entourage as shown in the picture below.
