The operations of Zambia Correctional Service Commission and conduct of staff for the strategic plan period will be anchored on the following five (5) core values:<\/p>

Management and Operational Structure <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The ZCSC has a two-tier operational structure made up of a Commission on one hand which is responsible for discharging its mandate as guided by the Constitution and provides overall policy direction. The Commission is made of seven (7) full-time members appointed by the President. On the other hand, the Secretariat is headed by a Commission Secretary who is responsible for the day-to-day operations. The Commission Secretary is assisted by a Deputy Commission Secretary and, Head Corporate Services.<\/p>

The day-to-day operations of the Commission are undertaken by the Secretariat. The Secretariat is made up of four units namely Human Resource Unit, Procurement Unit, Records Unit and Administration Unit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
